The MSNA Volunteer Guardians association of Calabria was established in Catanzaro on 03.10.2023 and has the aim of bringing together the voluntary guardians of Calabria. It is a voluntary and democratic ODV and does not pursue profit-making activities. The main purpose of the Association is to bring together the volunteer guardians of the Calabria Region, operating pursuant to Law no. 47/2017, which carry out the function of legal representation, protection and support for unaccompanied foreign minors present in the territory.
The aim of the Association, among others, is mainly to offer support and accompaniment to unaccompanied foreign minors in their growth, training and social inclusion paths, to offer support and accompaniment to unaccompanied foreign minors in their paths of autonomy and integration, effectively exercising the so-called guardianship social, represent the members in institutional and non-institutional offices, in order to supervise, implement, agree and share any useful activity to guarantee the best interests of unaccompanied foreign minors, of whom the members themselves are guardians, promote knowledge of the forms of foster care and family solidarity in favor of unaccompanied foreign minors and single foreign newly-adults, creating relationships and synergies both between the voluntary guardians of Calabria and between voluntary guardians and similar associations present on the national territory.
